Faith vs politics

I hate politics, I truly do. Not so much the people but the action, the virtue and idea of governmental, political powers that are set in order to be our institutions on which we rely on. Why did I use “hate” as a word? Well the way I see this world is becoming more and more wicked. I don’t know if any of you agree. When Jesus (Yeshua) roamed with his ministry with his disciples there was a few things he said. In John 18:36 “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence” showing that his kingdom isn’t on earth and he didn’t interfere dabble with politics or governments. Infact it was Paul who wrote more about governmental institutions. However Jesus also mentioned in Mark 12:17 “And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.” Why did Jesus (Yeshua) say these things? Because at the time the gentiles were taking over land, building giant nations, raging war against neighboring areas, and becoming worldly people with the desires and wants of this world. Jesus’ kingdom was for that of the spirit, for love, for those who give themselves to God.

The truth of the matter is that this world with our technology, cars, engineering, and everything that makes our lives easier are illusions, idols and devices that make us see the world in a worldly way. People can argue that the times are different, it’s how to survive, we need them for society today, and some of that debate maybe valid… But it’s also in context of greed. A sin many people have. Greed mixed with lust. Many of you have seen the commercials with attractive people trying to sell a product and manipulate our minds in thinking that’s what’s the best to get. I’M NOT INNOCENT EITHER!!

But it’s time we see the value of God, we stop arguing over the politics, we stop being greedy and getting all the new phones and cars. It’s time we look at our neighbors, and our enemies, we forgive them, we love them and we continue as people together, not just as one nation… But as one world… Under God… Together without any hate, prejudice, greed, lust, envy, sins in general and we focus on giving to God what is God’s.
